Early on, I was drawn to painting
It is a passion for me now. I am a largely self-taught artist, although I did take a drawing 101 and worked with several local artists. I noticed early on that I was attracted to watercolors as they tend to do there own thing and give artwork an organic feeling.

I am attracted to watercolors because they tend to do their own thing and give artwork an organic feeling, I like to think of the medium as a partner that helps me to express myself through colors. I love nature, the trees, flowers, sunny days, rainy days, and waterways, cats and dogs, bees and butterflies. It all engages my senses and moves me. I hope to share with the viewer the smells, the sounds, and the temperature of a place.
